Free Event - AI and Accessibility - 18th June

By Sophie Stevens posted 5 hours ago

This is part one of a two part session, taking place today 18th June at 1pm UK time, where we will be speaking with accessibility professionals and discussing AI and the impact it's having on their work and organisation, but also acts as an opportunity to discuss how AI is affecting your work as an accessibility professional and think about how to prepare for what happens next.

In the first session you’ll hear from accessibility professionals, Jim Smith and Simon Ellis, from Atos, and Denise Wood from PwC:

• They’ll tell us briefly what they’re doing and how AI is impacting their work from an organisation and personal perspective

• We’ll then host breakout rooms with other professionals to network and hear how AI is impacting them

• At the end we’ll ask for your comments and thoughts on AI

• We’ll compile notes from the session and share findings to highlight key themes. We’ll then use the findings from this session to build a second session in July, with a deeper dive on two topics that are of most value.

Sign up now for both sessions so that you can:

• Hear directly from accessibility professionals

• Hear real examples of how AI is changing day-to-day work, delivery, and strategy

• Learn what’s working, what’s not, and where AI is adding value

These sessions are ran by IAAP UK and IAAP India and are for International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) members, plus anyone considering becoming a member. For further information about the IAAP, please visit: https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/s/ Make sure to sign up to the event today! For anyone unable to make the event, please sign up and you will be sent the recording afterwards. Don't forget to sign up to the second session also!
